Passports & Purpose: Taking Your Leadership Global
March 11th, 2:00-4:00 pm PST
We live in a globalized world with more opportunities to work internationally than ever before. Today, 63% of small and medium sized businesses, a group that traditionally struggled with the cost of doing business across borders, now report global business growth. To those of us itching to take out our passports as often as possible, finding a way to combine career and travel is ideal.
So how do we take advantage of this global context of business to fulfill our desire to travel?
In alignment with International Women’s Day, we invite you to join us for an afternoon celebrating a panel of women who have experience working, volunteering, and studying outside of their countries of origin. They have built their careers by taking risks and stepping outside of cultural norms. Each of them has a unique story of how they created their own pathway to success in patriarchal societies and in cultures where they didn’t have women role models or mentors to reach up to.
After the panel, Leadership Coach and Veza Founder, Manpreet Dhillon will lead an interactive workshop that will help you develop your own global leadership pathway. It will include peer coaching, meditation, and support from mentors who have lived and worked abroad.
This interactive panel and workshop is for women who:
*Are motivated professionals or entrepreneurs
*Have been bitten by the travel bug
*Are exploring new ways of stepping into their leadership
*Are ready to make an impact
*Get inspiration, support, and mentorship from women who have already lived and worked abroad
*Discover new opportunities that you may not have considered
*Develop your own global leadership pathway through a leadership coaching exercise
*Participate in peer coaching and networking with like-minded women
