“Diversity work has impacted me in ways that perhaps I could not even fully understand. From a young child growing up in the basketball world, being the first, or the few, female and/or BIPOC in that space has profoundly shaped the person I am today. I am eternally grateful for the platform where my diverse background was celebrated and encouraged, while also allowing me to excel and grow as an individual. When I learned the direction and focus of Veza Global, it made me very excited that I could merge my passion for social equity with the work that I do on a daily basis.”
