Meet Unnati Jhaveri
Unnati Jhaveri comes from India – a land of colour, variety, spirituality, warmth, culture and much more. She grew up in Mumbai in a loving, kind and giving family. After spending 23 years of her life in Mumbai, she moved to Vancouver. Her first 5 years in Vancouver were a struggle, as she had to adapt to a significantly different culture and societal norms. She comes from a family of diamond merchants. She is a Jewelry Designer and a Diamond Grader. She will always try and cultivate her family diamond jewelry business, but she is also a Human Resources Professional for the last 7 years and hopes to grow in this professional trajectory as well. She is also a Life Coach, Master Coach, Holistic Nutritionist, Author (http://clayconsulting.ca/mould-yourself/) and a Therapeutic Counsellor. In her spare time, she loves to dance, as she is a professionally trained dancer, and she enjoys singing, reading, yoga, watching movies, being in nature, etc
Tell me in 100 words who you are? How would you describe yourself.
I am a simple person with a great deal of compassion, kindness and love. I love to learn, as that keeps me motivated. Through my life experiences, I have learned a lot and will continue to do so, which has made me the strong and confident person I am today. I am a people person and enjoy meeting people from different walks of life. A warm friendly person who loves to laugh and does not take life too seriously. My purpose in life is to help people see their potential which sometimes in the moment they are unable to see and to instil hope.
What is the name of your company?
What motivates/inspires you to get up each morning?
Learning something new. It could be in the form of reading a quote, watching something, etc. Also, watching people grow and achieve their desires keeps me motivated.
What contribution are you most proud of to date?
I make sure my dreams become a reality.
What is it that you feel that you teach others through how you act/show up each day?
Being a go-getter, not being afraid of failing and getting back up each time I fail with a stronger goal, being persistent, compassion, lightness to my being.
What’s one change you would like to see in this world?
More kindness and more inclusivity.
